Denise Coates, the founder and principal stakeholder of Bet365, was recently reported to have received a salary of £421 million ($598 million) for the fiscal year ended March 29.
She also received £48 million in dividends, bringing her total earnings to £469 million, which was regarded to be the largest pay check in British business history.
Her compensation was 50% greater than the £277m she received in 2019; in 2020, she made about £1.2m per day, more than any CEO of a FTSE 100 business, according to the High Pay Centre.
Denise Coates started Bet365 20 years ago and has been the United Kingdom's highest-paid CEO for several years.
Denise, her brother John Coates, and her father Peter Coates have been named the 17th richest owners in the United Kingdom.
Being 17th on the list was a one-place dip from previous year.
Bet365 has renamed their affiliate scheme, which was formerly known as bet365 Affiliates, to bet365 Partners.
The operator stated that the new initiative would have a new look and better features to strengthen the relationship between Bet365 and its partners.
